Stainless Steel

Marc Mirren jewellery primarily utilizes surgical steel as a base, known in the industry by its technical name 316L stainless steel. It’s strong. It’s safe. It’s abundant. It lasts practically forever. 316L stainless steel is also hypoallergenic, meaning it is safe to the body and less allergenic than other metals. It won’t rust, nor is it harmful to the environment as it can be recycled indefinitely. The stainless steel we use is responsibly sourced.

Gold plating

Our golden pieces are plated with 18k gold. The technology used for the plating is called PVD Coating (Physical Vapor Deposition). It’s durable, resistant to corrosion and has a long lifetime. It’s also resource efficient and environmentally friendly since no harmful baths or solvent are used in this process.

STONES

Swarovski zirconia

Swarovski stones present all the apparent characteristics of genuine diamonds. Each stone is finely cut and has the sheer brilliance you could expect from the fine craftsmanship of Swarovski.

AAA Cubic zirconia

All the stones used are AAA cubic zirconia; synthetic stones that are very similar to the diamond in terms of appearance and shape. The cubic zirconia we use are graded AAA, which ensure a long lasting shine.

Pearls

We use both freshwater pearls and synthetic pearls. Unless stated otherwise on the product page, the pearl used for this particular product is synthetic.

CARE

To prolong the life of your beautiful pieces of jewellery, there are some basic rules that you can follow:

- Remove your pieces of jewellery before participating in physical activity, bathing, taking a shower or going to bed.

- Avoid exposure to everyday chemicals that might damage the integrity of your jewellery. This includes, but is not limited to the following: perfume, hairspray, cleaning agents, chlorine water, salt.

- Gently clean your pieces of jewellery with a soft, clean cloth.

- Store your jewellery away from natural daylight, in a clean and dry place.

TRACES OF WEAR AND TEAR

Over time, scratches and tarnishing might appear on your jewellery, which are normal signs of wear and tear.
